Christmas Sunday

What a pretty red dress, thanks Grandma Henry.

Two handsome boys.
Just before church on Sunday Braden and Rylee enjoyed playing with their singing moose.

Sacramento Train Museum

When we went to Sacrament for a work conference for Brett, Braden loved the Thomas the Trains play area at the train museum. He didn't need to see all the for real, big trains. But I think he still liked them a bit. Later in Utah for Thanksgiving he spent a lot of time on Russ and Laura's floor play with their boys' trains too.

All October

So we took all of these pictures in October. At the beginning of the month we were in shorts at the Homecoming parade, and by the end of the month I was bundling up Rylee for our walks.

Following the leader, only I don't know who is the leader.

just cute

Rylee is smiling a lot now, and she will giggle some too, all very cute.
Rylee has so many cute dresses, its hard to wear them all before she grows out of them.
I am such a good mom, I make my son clean up his messes. How he does it is up to him, in this case he chose to eat the Apple Jacks.

Hope you all had a Happy Halloween

Braden was good at watching daddy carve the pumpkin. He even gave him a pat on the back.

Oops, a little teeny bit of crack there.

Brett and I were farmers who won first place for growing the best pumpkins.
Braden loved the Fall Festival at the Call's barn. He liked the booth where he could hit the balls. He was an adorable pumpkin.

Prop 8

Proposition 8 passed in California.
We are very happy, but the fight doesn't seem to be over. Of course there are many opposers who are "not forcing their beliefs on anyone", by rioting around the LA temple, and marking LDS churches with bad words. The division between good and evil is becoming more distinct. Let's all stay on the right side.

Play'n Around

Our new puppy

Brett and I have been thinking about getting a dog, because Braden loves animals, especially our dog Fletch, "dog" is one of his best words. So when we saw a basket of cute little black puppies being given away at Safeway when we exited last monday we just couldn't resist. Brett looked like the excited little boy.
Her mother is all golden retriever and her father is all black lab, so we think she will be a good dog. She is already good. It is so cute watching her follow Braden around the yard, and he is getting better at keeping her from jumping on him. And, I never really thought I would have a dog, but she just follows our feet all over the yard. I think it is fun, and I am excited to have her.

CHARLIE, not Callie, we found out its a boy.

Who woulda thought, I absolutely love this little puppy!!
I have never been much of a dog person, or pet person at all.
But we couldn't walk away once we saw her outside Safeway.
Just too cute. Plus, she was free, and that's how we like 'em.
